20th February 2025 is a golden day for Snehankit Helpline, as on this day, our chairperson Ms. Parimala Bhat was honored by Free Press Journal, Mumbai, as one of the ANGELS OF MUMBAI, 2024.

Free Press Journals special initiative, honors and celebrates people who are doing exceptional public-spirited work.

These awardees were selected by a distinguished jury, headed by Shri. S.J. Kathawala, a  respected retired judge.

The awardees were selected for the causes they work for which ranged from child sexual abuse, human trafficking, stray dogs, urban conservation, education and empowerment of specially abled children, and enabling the visually impaired.Jury chairperson, Shri S.J. Kathawala emphasized " The true measure of success is determined by how much a person can take from life, but by how much they can giveback.''

Our chairperson, while thanking the jury and Free Press Journal, for the prestigious award and the recognition, said that this award will help her to continue her work with more vigor. She also felt that her duty and responsibility has increased towards the society by this award.
