Awareness begins with understanding.

On 5 May 2026, we conducted an awareness session on visual impairment for Grade 11 students at Bombay International School.

Through a simple, interactive presentation, students explored what visual impairment truly means, addressed common misconceptions, and reflected on the everyday challenges faced by people with vision loss.

The session also introduced students to the work of Snehankit Helpline, highlighting how guidance, support, and accessibility can make a meaningful difference.

We’re grateful to Bombay International School for opening this space for learning and dialogue, and to Shayon Roy for his keen interest and support - especially his assistance with audio-related initiatives for the cause.

Small conversations today. A more inclusive mindset tomorrow.
